For mixed-Greek families, Greeks living abroad, second or third-generation Greek descendants, or anyone who just loves spending time in Greece, itโ€™s not always easy to keep that connection alive. Whether itโ€™s through language, food, traditions, or the simple beauty of Greek design, finding ways to celebrate and remember that heritage can be both meaningful and enjoyable. (I did not always know, it took me fifteen years away from Greece to realise this).

This collection of 25 Etsy finds is a thoughtful way to bring a little piece of Greece into your daily life and share a piece of your culture with your loved ones.

The list includes all sorts of Greek-inspired Etsy products: gifts, personal keepsakes, pieces to spark conversations about your heritage, as well as some modern Greek language resources, perfect for anyone wanting to teach or learn the language.

Iโ€™ve always loved browsing Etsy for its unique, handmade creations, and itโ€™s lovely knowing that my purchases support individual sellers, makers, and designers. As someone whoโ€™s both a seller and a buyer on Etsy, I’m excited to share this curated collection with you. So let’s dive right in!

1. Three Graces Art Print

Starting strong here, get your daily optimism and joie de vivre with this beautiful illustration of the Charites, also known as the three Graces. Ancient Greece themes can and have been reproduced in a very tacky way, at least to my Greek eyes. I appreciate how tastefully the theme is handled here. Imagine the burst of positive energy this trio can bring to your wall: Radiance, Joy and Bloom. (I’m a fan of this artist and I might link another print of hers later on.)

2. Homer’s Iliad First Page

Sing, O goddess, the anger of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Achaeans. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades. An original literary gift featuring the opening lines of the great epic poem in Ancient Greek, beautifully presented on an A5 giclรฉe print.

3. Map of Greece for Kids (with personalisation option)

A map of Greece would be great for my daughter’s room as she seems to think Athens is close to Liverpool. Available in many colours, this bright and cheery map of Greece would be a lovely addition to a bedroom, playroom or classroom wall. The illustrations on each county make great prompts to explore Greek geography and physical history even further. (I love the Minotaur!)

4. Periptero Art Print

On the nostalgic side now, anyone having lived in Greece has special memories of these kiosks scattered across neighbourhoods. This giclรฉe print depicts a retro 50s or 60s newspaper and tobacco stand, complete with a public telephone and tiny fan. Periptera are still very much alive and part of contemporary urban life in Greece, although they’re much more illuminated, surrounded by A-boards, refrigerators and chest freezers full of ice-lollies. (The one by our flat even has AC!)
